Do you buy other types of AV equipment beyond projectors?

Yes. We’re also actively buying pro audio equipment (line arrays, subwoofers, point-source speakers, processors, amplifiers/amp racks), video walls, media servers, cases, lenses, and supporting accessories.

Do you buy damaged or non-working equipment?

With our in-house repair and refurbishment department we have the capability to bring value to heavily used and non-functional gear. Quotes depend on several factors such as the nature of the damage, repaired value, and quantity available. Even without a successful repair, many parts inside can be harvested and applied towards the repair of future units, allowing for a sustainable source of manufacturer-specific, OEM parts that we otherwise would not be able to buy. Follow the standard quote process and we will handle the rest.

How do I get a quote for my used gear?

You can send us an itemized list or photos of the equipment via our contact form or email. Include make, model, quantity, condition, and any accessories. We'll review it and send a quote within 24–48 hours.

What is the minimum value or quantity to schedule a pickup?

We typically require a minimum of $5,000 in gear payout value for on-site pickup services.

Do you offer nationwide pickup for AV gear?

Yes, we offer nationwide shipping or local pickup and can coordinate freight for large jobs. On-site assessment and removal can also be coordinated.

How and when do I get paid for my AV gear?

We typically issue payment via bank transfer or business check at the time of pickup or upon receipt of the equipment, depending on your location and the scope of the deal.

What happens to the equipment after it’s picked up?

All gear is inspected, refurbished, repaired (if necessary), and reintroduced to the production ecosystem through customer resale or by us in our event production division.

Projectors

What kinds of projectors do you buy?

We purchase high-output laser and lamp-based projectors, typically 10,000 lumens and up. Frequent models include Barco F80, F90, UDM, UDX, QDX and HDX series, Christie Boxer, Griffyn, H/HS and Crimson series, Digital Projection TITAN, INSIGHT and M-Vision series and Panasonic RQ, RZ, FR and DZ series.

My projector is very high hours. Are you still willing to purchase it?

Many non-degrading components not related to optical/electrical systems contained provide a useful source of parts that otherwise often have large lead times or are unavailable for purchase entirely. This translated to more money for your projector that is potentially in rough shape, even non-functional, broken condition.

Audio

What pro-audio brands will StradEvents buy?

We focus on rider-friendly names—Meyer Sound, L-Acoustics, d&b audiotechnik, JBL VTX, EAW, RCF, Martin Audio, and similar touring / install lines. Secondary-tier gear (EV, QSC, Turbosound, etc.) is reviewed case-by-case—just send us a list.

My speakers have road rash—will you still make an offer?

Yes. Touring cabinets pick up scuffs, and we refurbish cosmetics in-house. As long as drivers, amp modules, and rigging are intact, we’ll quote you fair market value and handle removal or freight.
