Two Ways to Work With Us

Consignment is usually the best path for premium pro audio systems. Direct buyout is still available when speed, simplicity, or a full cleanout matters more than maximum recovery.

Consignment

We Sell It For You

We prepare the listing, market the equipment, speak with buyers, coordinate freight, and manage the transaction. This is the stronger path for high-value line arrays, consoles, wireless packages, and full PA systems.

Best for:

  • Flagship line arrays, subs, consoles, and amp racks
  • Complete touring or install packages with real resale value
  • Sellers who want a stronger recovery and can wait for the right buyer
Outright Buyout

We Buy the Gear Directly

We review the model list, condition, quantities, accessories, cases, and logistics, then make a direct offer when buyout is the cleaner path.

Best for:

  • Fast decommissions and warehouse cleanouts
  • Mixed-condition lots or service stock
  • Sellers who want one buyer and a simpler exit

What StradEvents handles

More Than a Buyer With a Quote

The best pro audio opportunities need documentation, presentation, freight planning, and buyer communication. That is where we can create value.

Testing & Documentation

We organize model lists, condition notes, serials, photos, included accessories, and known issues.

Sales Presentation

For consignment, we build credible listings and route equipment to buyers who understand the platform.

Freight & Closeout

We help coordinate pickup, freight, receiving, transaction details, and lot disposition when the package is larger.

Condition does not disqualify it

Condition We Accept

Working gear, service-needed equipment, older inventory, and unknown-condition lots can all be worth reviewing.

Working

Functional gear with clean operation and known history.

Needs Service

Driver issues, firmware needs, cosmetic wear, intermittent faults, or repairable problems.

As-Is / Parts

Incomplete, non-working, or older units with component or parts value.

Unknown

Warehouse finds, inherited racks, decommissioned systems, or limited-testing situations.

Who we help

Who We Work With

The best leads are usually sellers with organized inventory, system packages, or a real decommission project. We can still start from rough photos and a model list.

Production & Rental

Touring systems, amp racks, consoles, RF racks, cases, and retired rental stock.

Venues & Institutions

Churches, theaters, schools, arenas, corporate campuses, and broadcast spaces.

Integrators & Dealers

Decommissioned installs, trade-ins, overstock, service stock, and mixed lots.

We can help move the gear

Logistics & Pickup

Line arrays, amp racks, and consoles are not small parcel problems. We help plan freight, pickup, packaging, and receiving.

Freight & Shipping

Insured freight for large systems and labels for smaller boxed gear.

Packaging Guidance

We can advise on pallets, cases, packaging materials, and what to include.

Cleanouts & Lots

For larger inventories, we can evaluate the whole package and coordinate the path.

Common seller questions

Pro Audio Selling FAQ

The short version: send the brand and model list first. We will help determine whether consignment, buyout, repair, refurbishment, freight, or a larger lot strategy makes sense.

What pro audio equipment does StradEvents consider?

We focus on professional touring, production, venue, worship, broadcast, and commercial install equipment with real resale demand. Line arrays, subs, consoles, wireless systems, IEM racks, amp racks, processors, rigging, cases, and full audio packages are all good fits.

Do you only buy working gear?

No. We review working, service needed, incomplete, and unknown condition equipment. Condition affects the sale path and value, but it does not automatically disqualify the gear. Repair, refurbishment, documentation, and strategic resale can create value when the equipment has demand.

Is consignment or buyout usually better?

Consignment is usually the better fit for high value pro audio systems when the seller wants stronger recovery and can wait for the right buyer. Direct buyout is available when speed, simplicity, or a cleanout matters more than maximum recovery.

Can you help with freight, pickup, packing, or removal?

Yes. We help make the process of moving gear simple. For larger deals, we can coordinate freight, pickup planning, packing guidance, and removal support when the situation calls for it. The right plan depends on equipment size, location, timeline, and site access.

What should I send first?

Start with a basic list of the gear: brands, model numbers, and rough quantities. A few photos are helpful for filtering the opportunity. Location and condition notes are also useful, but the brand and model list is the most important first step.

Are photos required before you respond?

Photos are optional for the first message, but they are strongly preferred. They help us filter the lead quickly. Photos are usually needed before a firm quote because condition, completeness, accessories, cases, and packaging all affect value.

How quickly will I hear back?

Most pro audio reviews receive a response within 24 to 48 hours. Larger inventories, mixed lots, or equipment that needs deeper market review can take longer, but the goal is to give you a practical next step quickly.

What equipment is usually not a fit?

We work exclusively with professional and commercial grade audio visual equipment. Consumer speakers, small DJ gear, low end mixers, home audio, and broken commodity gear are usually not a fit unless they are packaged with other equipment that has resale demand.

Liquidating More Than Audio?

We also evaluate projectors, LED video walls, rigging, cases, and mixed AV inventories.
