When the show moves on

One Partner for the Equipment Left Behind

Your next production should not have to wait on selling the last one.

When an exhibition closes or changes, valuable equipment can become a storage bill and another job for an already busy team. Selling it properly takes more than an inventory list: someone needs to inspect each piece, understand its application, answer buyers' questions, and prepare it for its next deployment.

We bring that work into our normal resale operation. Our strongest fit is professional projection and lenses, audio systems, LED video walls, and supporting equipment from immersive installations and production fleets. Lighting, effects, mounts, cases, and other equipment can be reviewed as part of a larger package.

You can contact us while a show is still running. Planning the handoff early helps reduce the gap between the equipment's last deployment and its availability for resale.

A Resale Plan Built Around Your Lot

Consignment can support stronger recovery when you have valuable equipment but do not want to operate the resale process yourself. We agree on the commission, expected resale values, sale minimums, and responsibilities before receiving the equipment.

Our commission covers the agreed work of receiving, storage, routine preparation, marketing, buyer communication, and fulfillment. Freight charges and any additional work are defined separately, so both parties understand the costs before proceeding. We can also review direct buyout or a combined approach when part of the lot needs a different solution.

We are relationship-driven. Consistent inventory, repeatable testing, and repeat business can make the process more efficient and support more favorable terms. The goal is strong recovery with clear accounting, not simply the fastest clearance at any price.

From equipment list to settlement

How It Works

01

Review the Equipment and Agree on Terms

Send the equipment list, location, condition, and timing. We review the resale opportunity and logistics, then put the scope, estimated values, minimums, commission, cost allocations, and payout terms in a signed agreement.

02

Coordinate the Handoff

We organize inbound freight through our logistics partners. Your team normally prepares and loads equipment in suitable cartons or cases; smaller LTL shipments also need appropriate palletization. For larger or more complex projects, we can discuss on-site assistance with preparation and loading.

Where agreed, we can advance inbound freight costs and recover them dollar-for-dollar from the first sales proceeds before consignor payouts. This reduces the upfront transport expense without hiding it in the settlement.

03

Receive, Test, and Prepare for Resale

At our Milwaukee warehouse, we reconcile the incoming lot, record serial numbers and relevant operating hours, and document condition. We clean and test equipment, address reasonable minor issues within the agreed scope, and flag findings that affect value or require additional work.

04

Place the Equipment and Account for the Sale

We offer equipment through our resale channels and ongoing conversations with professional buyers. We handle buyer questions, appropriate demonstrations, packaging, and outbound shipping coordination. Payout follows confirmed delivery under the agreement, with a clear record of sales, commission, and agreed deductions.

Technical Knowledge Helps Protect Recovery

Our buyers are often solving a production problem, not simply shopping for a model number. We help them evaluate equipment against their application, existing systems, and practical constraints, including where compromises remain.

That understanding helps us assemble useful packages and give the next owner confidence in the purchase. It also helps us identify correctable problems before an otherwise valuable piece is discounted or rejected.

For one immersive-exhibition operator, the relationship grew from smaller buyouts into a truckload consignment. We received the mixed inventory, tested and prepared it, and sold projection and audio equipment into new professional applications.

Space, care, and accountability

Storage, Documentation, and Discretion

Equipment is handled at our private, climate-controlled Milwaukee warehouse, with camera monitoring, a private loading dock, and appointment-only demonstrations and receiving. We provide the storage and resale handling that can otherwise tie up your team's space and time.

We keep the relationship between consignor and buyer discreet. Settlement reporting can substantiate the transaction while protecting the buying party's identity.

Our warehouse policy includes consigned equipment, subject to the policy and required inventory documentation. We address warehouse and transit coverage before shipment, rather than assuming one automatically covers the other.

Common Questions

Does the equipment need to be removed before we contact you?

No. Contact us while planning the closeout or while the installation is still operating. We can review the list and agree on a handoff plan before the equipment becomes idle. Removal, packing, and loading responsibilities are established for each project.

Can you handle a mixed lot rather than just the projectors?

Yes. We review mixed professional AV lots, including projection, lenses, audio, LED systems, and supporting equipment. Items outside our main categories may fit within a larger package; we confirm the accepted inventory before shipment.

Do you provide packing or on-site support?

Customers normally prepare and load equipment in suitable cartons or cases, with palletization for smaller LTL shipments. For larger deals or more involved closeouts, we can discuss on-site help or other preparation arrangements. The scope and costs are agreed in advance.

How soon will the equipment sell and when will we be paid?

Timing depends on the equipment, condition, pricing, and buyer demand. We aim to make timely sales while protecting recovery, but do not promise a fixed sell-through date. Payout follows confirmed delivery under the agreement, with any agreed freight advances recovered from initial proceeds.

Start with brands, models, quantities, location, and your expected removal date. Include condition, packing status, and photos if available. A basic list is enough to begin; you can attach an inventory file or photos through our contact form.
